DescriptionForty litres shaped to the carry-on box: a structured full-grain duffle with a reinforced leather spine, saddle-stitched at every stress point and riveted at every handle junction. Bridle side carries wrap under the base rather than stopping at the seam, so the load path is continuous. Brass zips run on leather pulls; the interior is herringbone cotton with a full-length zip pocket.

The usual duffle stitches its handles to a seam and hopes. The Transcontinental wraps its bridle carries fully under the base and rivets through both hides, so weight transfers through leather to leather, not thread to thread. Overhead bins are a lighter test than a decade of gate checks.
