Full-grain vegetable-tanned hide, 1.2–2.2 mm depending on the piece, from a single tannery we have used for years. It is not corrected-grain or coated, so it marks — and then it patinas.
Vegetable-tanned full grain starts matte and firm, then darkens and softens with handling and sunlight. Tan moves toward honey; chestnut toward a deep oxblood; black stays black. Give it a few months.
Keep it dry, wipe with a dry cloth, and recondition once or twice a year with a neutral leather balm. A drop of water will spot it at first — that fades as the leather settles.

Most pieces can be made in a different hide, and small goods can be debossed with up to three initials. Message us before ordering and we will confirm.
For ten years from delivery we repair our bags and small goods — restitching seams, replacing hardware, re-cutting a strap. Send it back and we mend it; you cover shipping to us, we cover the work.
