DescriptionFive card slots and a center slip, skived and folded rather than layered, keep the Quint at 34 grams and under 6 mm loaded. The center slip takes folded notes or a transit pass; the outer slots tighten to grip a single card as firmly as five. Saddle-stitched sides, burnished edges, full-grain hide all the way through.
Slots are cut tight on purpose.
The tolerance

Slots are cut tight on purpose.

Loose card slots stretch in a month and stop holding anything. The Quint's outer slots are cut to grip from the first card, then relax exactly to the width of daily use and no further. Six millimeters loaded, thirty-four grams, and the front pocket stops being a decision.
