The zip is solid brass on a leather pull, sized to turn a corner without puckering the panel. Charcoal full-grain outside, pig suede inside, 4-pass edges throughout.

Running a zip around a corner pulls the panel sideways, which is why most zip wallets pucker at the bend. The Arc sizes its brass chain and sets the pull at the midpoint of the arc, so tension stays even through the turn. It opens flat, which is the honest test.
